As a first-generation Latina student, navigating a foreign country and culture challenged me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace unfamiliarity with resilience and open-mindedness. This experience taught me to thrive in diverse environments, problem-solve effectively, and approach new situations with confidence and flexibility.
Studying Abroad
Studying abroad in Florence, Italy, was a life-changing journey that profoundly altered my perspective on life. This experience broadened my horizons, enriching my worldview and inspiring a lifelong passion for exploration and understanding.
Crotchet:Crocheting has been a cherished hobby of mine for the past few years. While I learned to sew at a young age and still enjoy it, crochet has provided an artistic outlet for continuous improvement over time. While I wouldn't call myself an expert, I'm always eager to try new techniques and projects.CURRENT OBSESSIONS
Food Spot:Richmond's food scene is brimming with options, and while it's impossible to try them all, PBR in the Fan District has become my go-to spot. Their meatball parm is an absolute favorite of mine from their menu. It's a must-try!
Concert Line Up:Attending Harry Styles' Love on Tour in 2021 ignited my passion for live music, leading me to eagerly anticipate concerts of all scales. Despite the limited 2024 concert lineup, I secured tickets for Olivia Rodrigo's Guts Tour, eagerly anticipating the experience. Hyperfixation Anthem:Music acts as a universal language, uniting individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds. Its melodies intertwine with cherished memories, evoking profound emotions and forging connections that surpass verbal expression. With a passion for exploring various genres, I constantly seek out new music. When I discover a song that resonates deeply with me, I immerse myself in it, experiencing a hyperfocus that defines my current song choice.
